David T.
Kohnhorst, 82, died May 13, 2011, at St. Lucie Medical Center in Port
St. Lucie. He was born in Wausau, Wis., and lived in Port St. Lucie
for 18 years, coming from Bowie, Md. He was an Air Force veteran. He
was a past commander of American Legion Post 355, St. Lucie West, and
member of
Elks Lodge 2823. Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Shirley
Kohnhorst; daughter, Brenda Bryson of Laurel, Md.; sons, Ronald
Kohnhorst of Brentwood, Md., and Kerry Kohnhorst of Jessup, Md.;
brother, Kenneth Kohnhorst of Leavenworth, Wash.; 12 grandchildren;
and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sons,
David and Leo; brothers, Roy and Donald; and sister, Violet. Memorial
contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Stuart,
Music Department, 1715 N.W. Pine Lake Drive, Stuart, FL 34994;

www.stuartpres.org. Services: A memorial service will be at 11
a.m. May 18 at First Presbyterian Church of Stuart. Arrangements are
by All County Funeral Home & Crematory Treasure Coast Chapel.
